Velusinus R has caused a sensation for several years now in Grand Prix show jumping. Shown by Christine Tribble under the name Vegas, this stallion has participated in the international competitions of the Samsung Super League, among others. Last year Vegas was the winner of the tough Syracuse Grand Prix.
Velusinus is out of a very strong jumper dam-line with a succession of many proven performance sires. His sire, Voltaire, is number four in the WBFSH rankings. Velusinus R’s dam, D Ulisina, is a daughter of the famous foundation sire Joost. Joost produced many international jumpers, such as Osta Carpet’s Carrera, G Adermie, Hay Guy, Germus R, V.I.P., Little Elk, Blue Chip, and Bonius.
Velusinus R comes from the renowned Melusina line, which has produced many good sport horses, breeding stallions, and broodmares. Among these is the international jumper Jade (s.Ladalco), a half-sister to Velusinus R.
