Dark bay, born 1995, height 16.2 hh (1.68 m), KWPN (breeding family 154)
After winning Reserve Champion at the 1998 Stallion Selection in ’s-Hertogenbosch, Namelus R showed great promise for the future in his stallion performance test. He has fully met the high expectations set for him as a breeding stallion, as evidenced by the keur predicate he was awarded this year. Unfortunately, chronic issues as the result of an injury have stood in the way of the stallion’s show career. Namelus R leads the KWPN stallion index (breeding value show jumping).
Namelus R bloodlines have no weak links. His sire, Concorde, produced dozens of international jumpers. His dam, E Amelusina, is the number one representative at Stal Roelofs of the famous Melusiena performance line. Progeny out of this line include the international jumpers Hay Guy, Matcho KB, Barquilio, Esperite, Jade, Audi`s Idalco, and Velusinus R (Vegas). Amelusiena, Namelus R’s granddam, is the dam of the Olympic jumper Lamalushi.
Namelus R offspring are in demand. This is no surprise, as the stallion produces high quality jumpers with both a great work ethic and rideability. Namelus R progeny jump with excellent take-off and suppleness in their bodies. The stallion passes on abundant blood and presence to his offspring. He produces modern, light-footed horses with good necks and athletic, long-lined conformation.
Even at a young age, Namelus R already is a proven progenitor of blood typed top athletes, such as the KWPN Champion Stallion Arthos R, W Termie R (sold at Jeroen Dubbeldam’s Expo Talent Sale), PSI-horse Nintender and the reserve champion of the VSN final Aberdeen. In breeding his son Tolan R has proven himself as producer of top jumping ability and improver of the conformation.
From Namelus R’s first crop of foals, the KWPN immediately approved the very handsome black stallion Tolan R. Another of his sons, Nintender (formerly known as Vegas R), approved by the Oldenburg International jumper studbook, is clear proof that Namelus R is a true sire of jumpers. Nintender did very well in his Hengstleistungsprüfung, finishing second in jumping. Paul Schockemöhle uses Nintender as a breeding stallion to pass on needed blood.
Namelus R progeny also make their mark at the international shows. In Neustadt-Dosse, Joy Lammers won a class on T-Sellie (Namelus R x Coriander). At CSI Twente, U.Adermie (Namelus R x Zeus x Joost) finished second in the final for six-year-old jumpers.
The 2007-2008 KWPN Stallion Selection included a product of the excellent pairing Namelus R x Mermus R. This Namelus R son out of S. Adermie by Mermus R x Zeus greatly impressed all with his type, movement, and jumping talent.
Namelus R sires many black/dark bay horses and no chestnuts.
Stationed with Mr. W. Ardts in Haps, (North Brabant province).
