After winning Reserve Champion at the 1998 Stallion Selection in ’s-Hertogenbosch, Namelus R showed great promise for the future in his stallion performance test. He has fully met the high expectations set for him as a breeding stallion, as evidenced by the keur predicate he was awarded. Namelus R is at the top of the KWPN list earning 152 points (breeding value show jumping).
The stallion passes on abundant blood and presence to his offspring. He produces modern, light-footed horses with good necks and athletic, long-lined conformation.
Even at a young age, Namelus R already is a proven progenitor of blood typed top athletes, such as the Dutch Champion Boemerrang, the KWPN Champion Stallion Arthos R and the PSI-horse Nintender.
The highlight of the Dutch mare performance test (EPTM) in 2010, Beau Rubertha R (88 points) is also sired by Namelus R. Her full brother D.Rubertha R (Namelus R x Contender) was the revelation of the KWPN Stallion Show 2011. Being the smart looking show jumping machine that he is, D.Rubertha R was proclaimed second reserve champion of the KWPN Show.
At international shows the first generation offspring of Namelus R draws the attention of the experts. To name a few: Triple X III (Namelus R x Catango Z, Ben Maher), User ID (Namelus R x Goodwill, Gemma Paternoster), Upsala (Namelus R x Hamlet, Leon Thijsen), BMC Nathos R (Namelus R x Calvin Z, Ben Schröder), T.Sellie (Namelus R x Coriander, Joy Lammers) and Tantalus (Namelus R x Faram, Jody van Gerwen). Other extreme talents sired by Namelus R are: Umelus (Namelus R x Wolfgang), Twindoline and Urdolin (both Namelus R x Indorado), Monterey (Namelus R x Abgar xx), T.Zermie (Namelus R x Aramis Z), Vance (Namelus R x Papillon Rouge) and W Termie (Namelus R x Leandro).
Because of his genetic power, Namelus R is approved by KWPN, Holsteiner Verband, Oldenburg International, Selle Français and Studbook Zangersheide.
There are no weak spots in Namelus R’s pedigree. Sire Concorde has dozens of international show jumpers to his name. At Stal Roelofs, Namelus R’s dam E Amelusina is the finest representative of the famous Melusiena performance family. This dam line produced superb horses such as Hay Guy, Matcho KB, Barquilio, Esperite, Jade, Audi’s Idalco and Velusinus R (Vegas). Amelusiena, the grand dam of Namelus R, is the dam of the approved sire Sam R and she is the third dam of the Olympic horse Lamalushi.
Namelus R sires many black/dark bay horses and no chestnuts.
